Project Goal
The main goal is to evaluate the capability of AI to provide accurate, proximate predictions of election outcomes, while also examining how different metrics and algorithms can impact AI technology, resulting in diverse prediction results.
Available Tools
You will be able to use BIRD Incubator facilities for the duration of the challenge. Along with that, experienced mentors with vast knowledge of the industry will be at your disposal. Finally, all publicly available databases are free to use.

Project background
N1, a leading regional multimedia platform reaching 20 million people, aims to destigmatize AI.
They’re hosting an AI challenge focused on leveraging data engineering, machine learning, and proprietary software to predict the outcome of Croatia’s 2024 Parliamentary elections.
Project Development
Ten teams consisting of 3 to 5 people will be chosen from all applications to pitch their ideas to a diverse jury of professionals from politics, media, economics, AI, and technology. From these, three teams will advance to the final stage.
The challenge’s winner will be determined based on the accuracy of their election predictions. These top three teams will receive ongoing support from jury members and mentors to fine-tune their strategies and improve their predictive models throughout the competition.
Final products
Your final prediction should include the top 5 parties/lists with the highest number of parliamentary seats. You should predict the exact number of seats each of the top 5 parties/lists will receive.
