A founder starts with one idea, but before long, their research is in one tool, tasks in another, and startup frameworks scattered across dozens of tabs. Project01, founded by Antonia Kurtović (CEO), Nora Miškulin (CTO), and Vitomir Pavičić (CMO), is built to bring the entire journey from idea to launch into one workspace.
The team joined BIRD’s Pre-Incubation Program in 2025, took first place at Demo Day, and earned direct entry into the Incubation Program 2025/26, where they finished among the top three startups. Project01 officially launched on August 31, making the platform available to use for free. We sat down with the team to talk about building a startup while studying, what founders really need, and what comes after launch.
What’s the name of your startup, and what problem are you solving?
We are Project01, a workspace for startup building. Founders often have a great idea, but don’t know where to start or what to do next. So eventually, their workflows end up scattered across countless tools, frameworks, and resources. We help them avoid that.
Who is Project01 for, and how does it work?
Imagine Project01 as a map where islands represent all phases your idea will go through, from scratch to launch. Each island doesn’t just represent a startup lesson, but an actual place where you will do the work: brainstorming, conducting customer research, analyzing competition, tracking product development, testing prototypes – it is all there, in one place, fully organized and personalized.
And oh, did we mention that one island updates the context of the other automatically? The workspace is always up-to-date with your whole team’s progress.
So, no matter if you have hundreds of ideas and need help filtering them out, or have one precious idea you want to bring to life, Project01 is there for you.
Every startup faces challenges: what’s been your toughest obstacle so far, and how did you overcome it?
We started building the startup as students, so one of our challenges was figuring out how to balance our studies with the startup. But it turned out you can do a lot with a bit of planning and a lot of will.

What’s one piece of advice or wisdom from your journey that you believe every founder should know?
Most of the time, you feel like you’re walking in the dark and don’t know if something will work out. Just keep walking, and collect feedback from your users along the way – they’re your flashlight in the dark.

What’s one resource, connection, or experience at BIRD Incubator that truly made a difference in your startup’s growth?
Being part of BIRD’s incubation program helped us learn what founders need at each stage. A lot of tools within the map are based on real startup methodologies, while others we built ourselves because we needed them internally.
Let’s talk about the future. Where do you see your startup in five years, and what goals are you most excited to achieve?
We plan to expand Project01 with more tools for founders, and add incubator and investor dashboards to connect the whole startup ecosystem in one place. We would also love to bring Project01 to universities to help students build their first projects. Our long-term goal is to make Project01 the default startup operating system globally.
What stage of development is Project01 at right now, and where can people sign up to try it?
Project01 is now officially publicly available! And the best part is that you can use it for free right now. Our early testers described Project01 as “an AI digital incubator you can have at your home” and as “way better than Jira”. So, is it time you finally start working on that idea?
