As alumni of the BIRD Incubator, Peekator is redefining how companies gather and understand customer insights through AI-powered survey workflows. From conversational AI that digs deeper into responses to instant AI-generated reports and recommendations, Peekator helps teams survey smarter and make data-driven decisions faster.
We sat down with Marin Mrša, Founder & CEO of Peekator, to talk about their journey, the pivotal moments that shaped their direction, and the vision guiding their next chapter.
What’s the name of your company, what problem are you solving, and what’s your long-term vision for the company?
We are Peekator, and we help companies understand their customers and markets in a faster, cleaner, and more meaningful way. Our long-term vision is to become the central hub for customer and market feedback, the place teams rely on daily to make smarter decisions.
You’ve reached impressive milestones. Can you share the funding you’ve raised, the size of your team, and what’s next for your growth?
We raised a €300k pre-seed round in 2021, and today we’re a 6-person team. We’ve been profitable for the past two years while expanding globally. Most of our clients are in the UK, and the next big step is scaling further into the US market, where we already have our first customers.

Every startup has key moments that shape its direction. Can you share a story about a pivotal moment that shifted your company’s approach, and how you navigated that challenge?
A pivotal moment was our expansion into the UK in 2022. It forced us to rethink almost everything—from how we structure teams to how we build the product. The UK market had very different expectations, so we had to make a full strategic shift. That also meant making some tough team decisions, including parting ways with people we cared about. It was difficult but ultimately the right move for the future of the company.
How has BIRD Incubator contributed to your growth so far? What’s been the most valuable part of the program for your startup?
BIRD Incubator has always been a safe space for us, whether we needed advice, a sounding board, or a chance to connect with people who understand the journey. That support made a real difference.
Reflecting on your journey so far, what’s one lesson or mindset shift that’s been key to your success?
For me, it’s the build-to-last mindset. This is a marathon, not a sprint. We optimise for sustainability in every part of the company, which helps us make healthier decisions about the product, the team, and the business overall.
Looking ahead, where do you see your company in 3–5 years? What are your most important goals, and what’s your strategy for achieving them?
I see Peekator being used by hundreds of large companies around the world, helping iconic brands understand their customers. The strategy is simple: build a world-class product and a strong community around it.
